Emergency Operations Page

Please refer to our NEW Emergency Operations page for up-to-date information, programs, and damage reporting.  We need you to report any damages to residential or businesses ASAP so that we can get additional resources to help those who need them. This includes renters, owners, home businesses, brick-and-mortar businesses, vacation rentals, etc. Even if your road way, driveways, etc. had damage, we want to hear about them.

Click here or the Logo to the right for all information that may be impacting you, and your neighbors, throughout the City and County.

A Great Place to Live, Work & Play

Made famous by Mark Twain in his story “The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras”, the City of Angels is home to one of the most picturesque historic downtowns in California’s Gold Country.  Home to the Angels Camp Museum and Carriage House, an internationally recognized destination with more than 30,000 square feet of exhibits on Gold Rush history and New Melones Lake which is the 9th largest reservoir in the State of California.

The City of Angels is the only incorporated City in Calaveras County and is home to just under 3,900 residents (2020 Census) and is a California Historical Landmark #287.
