Hop N’ Shop with Frog Bucks Phase 2
Why does Hop N’ Shop make sense?
This phase is a little different. Purchasers can buy 1 card and get 1 card 50% of the purchase value. However, EVEN when the donation funds run out, these eGift cards are such a wonderful gift for the holidays, birthdays, thank yous, and hostess/host gifts! 92% of recipients of “shop local” cards prefer them over national brands!
We have 30 local businesses signed up. If you haven’t signed up yet, you are missing out on sales! The program is being marketed to locals and tourists everywhere possible, including at local hotels and businesses and on the Calaveras Visitors Bureau’s website and the Museum.
This program builds business just in time for the holidays and sets the path for more sales in the upcoming year. Did you know that 51% of cardholders try NEW places? That could be your business, making a new customer for you! Did you know that 30% of cardholders overspend on their cards?
Don’t wait! Click on the Hop N’ Shop Local to join this great program and support our City Businesses and Economy today!

A Great Place to Live, Work & Play
Made famous by Mark Twain in his story “The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras”, the City of Angels is home to one of the most picturesque historic downtowns in California’s Gold Country. Home to the Angels Camp Museum and Carriage House, an internationally recognized destination with more than 30,000 square feet of exhibits on Gold Rush history and New Melones Lake which is the 9th largest reservoir in the State of California.
The City of Angels is the only incorporated City in Calaveras County and is home to just under 3,900 residents (2020 Census) and is a California Historical Landmark #287.
