The City of Angels received COVID relief funds and is dedicating a significant portion to economic development programs throughout the city.
One program is Hop N’ Shop, which focuses on keeping shopping dollars within our community. Merchants with storefronts who accept Point of Sale (POS) payment methods within the city limits can enroll to accept Frog Bucks. These are virtual credit cards accepted at any POS system by the enrolled merchants to be used on services, food, or sales.
Purchasers can buy 1 card and get 1 card 100% of the purchase value. These eGift cards are such a wonderful gift for birthdays, thank yous, and hostess/host gifts! 92% of recipients of “shop local” cards prefer them over national brands!
You do NOT have to live in the City of Angels to purchase. Buy one for yourself and gift the other. Right now, as funds are available, you can buy TWO cards and receive or send TWO gifts of equal value! A maximum of $100 per card and a minimum of $25 per card. (Purchased cards have NO expiration date. Gift cards expire in 6 months).
Virtual Cards are sent to your email and that of the recipient you designate. Cards can be used at any of the 30+ participating merchants!

Merchant FAQs:
Does it cost me anything to participate?: NO! The City is paying the cost of the card and the transaction fees from YIFTEE. Your regular merchant fees will be the same as they would be for accepting a credit card.
How will customers know I accept Frog Bucks?: Once the City receives notification that you have enrolled, we will come to you with marketing stickers, cards, and marketing information.
