11/3/2022 UPDATE – Boil water notice is still in place while testing occurs for impacted customers. This can take 2-3 days.

11/2/2022 – The City is aware of a major waterline break on Smith Flat in Greenhorn Creek. Smith Flat will be partially closed to make the necessary repairs and will be without water for an undetermined amount of time. Customers on Smith Flat east of Miwuk to Greenhorn Creek Road – see boil water notice.

Customers outside of the impacted area may see some water discoloration. This is aesthetic and you should run your water until it clears. The cause is due to the pressure caused in the line that caused a disturbance in the normally occurring sediments throughout the line. However, the water is completely safe to drink.
